The Celonis Value Engineering (VE) team is focused on managing the entire customer value lifecycle, from sales through value realization, renewal and expansion. This requires a deep knowledge across our sales motions, product portfolio, processes & use cases, industry, value realization and customer success domains. You will be joining the Global Center of Excellence (CoE) which is an international, diverse, and dynamic team at the core of Celonis Value Engineering. 


The Role:

To equip our GTM organization and ultimately support our customers on their path to value, we have a dedicated VE Enablement Team. We focus on onboarding talent as efficiently as possible and providing relevant and timely training to upskill the field. The Senior Value Engineer, Japan Enablement  role is responsible for onboarding & upskilling as well as developing programs, tools and processes that equip our VEs and Sales field teams to effectively perform and excel in their jobs. This role is instrumental in supporting the ongoing development of our GTM teams in the Japan office. This role reports directly to the Value Engineering Enablement Manager.

The work you’ll do:

Onboarding

  • Ensure successful onboarding for the field and leadership teams in VE and Sales
  • Facilitate commercial and technical workshops for new joiners tailored to the needs of the Japanese market
  • Collaborate with VE and Sales leadership to ensure successful sales play certifications
  • Identify early stage land/expand opportunities for new joiners to shadow and take part in to help build their expertise   

 

Upskilling Talent

  • Translate global GTM priorities to reflect the local Japanese strategy and execute enablement programs which empower the teams around the latest product innovations and customer health focus areas 
  • Facilitate tailored programs to the Japanese market for VEs and Sales to improve their soft skills (public speaking, demos, objection handling, presentation skills etc.)
  • Align with internal stakeholders across VE, sales, product, business apps and marketing

 

Tools & Solutions

  • Track and maintain local enablement reporting dashboard
  • Collaborate with the global VE Enablement team to coordinate and design calls/programs for the Japanese market 
  • Contribute to the monthly enablement newsletter
  • Leverage existing VE/Sales programs and resources to adopt them to the Japanese market 

 

The qualifications you need:

  • Language requirements: native Japanese speaker, with a proficient level of English (C1 or above)
  • Enablement Experience: passion and experience helping individuals develop via mentoring, teaching and coaching. Proven track record of designing and executing complex learning programs for diverse audiences  
  • Product Expertise: previous experience with a SaaS platform and willingness to learn a wide range of product capabilities 
  • Business acumen: ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage complex customer journeys. Demonstrate experience in key motions such as discovery, qualification, sales proof motions and value realization  
  • Project Management: ability to plan and manage multiple project streams, expectations and timelines with a hide range of internal stakeholders 
  • Adaptability: ability to adapt to a fast moving, ever changing, high growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking, and a growth mindset
